Beetster (2001)

Kamei presented the Beetster on the basis of the new Beetle as a world innovation at the 58th IAA in 2001.

A fully functional 2 seater prototype with a chopped roof - with added torsional rigidity.

Enhanced by the attractive Kamei car styling features such as Headlight Trims, Front and Rear Covers, Exhaust Pipe Covers, Door Handle Covers, Footboard Covers and Stone Guards. All of which are currently available on this website.

Unique features include 8.5 x 19" BBS aluminium wheels in 'Claromat' mirror silver. Colour co-ordinated bucket seats with 4 point seat belts, leather upholstery and a special water proof aluminium travel case.
